La Palma
Para hablar de las playas de la isla podemos dividirlas en cuatro zonas, las del oeste enclavadas en una zona con una clara vocación turística, entre las cuales podemos nombrar Puerto Naos, El Charco Verde, Las Monjas en los Llanos de Aridane y Puerto de Tazacorte, Los Guirres, La Bombilla en Tazacorte; al este Los Cancajos en Breña Baja ofrece la playa más popular de la zona y Bajamar es la principal playa urbana de la isla, mientras que El Pocito y Nogales resultan menos bulliciosas, al sur las cuatro playas de Fuencaliente (La Zamora, Punta Larga, Echentive y Las Cabras) viven del peculiar paisaje volcánico de la zona y por último, al norte la ausencia de grandes bancos de arena aleja a las masas de este pintoresco grupo de calas y piscinas de agua salada, entre las que se ocultan algunas joyas del litoral palmero, destacandose El Charco Azul, La Fajana, Fajana de Franceses, La Veta, Porís de Puntagorda.
