La Palma
Los Bosques encantados están ubicados en la reserva natural de Los Tilos, en el Noreste de La Palma, es una zona para caminar con una espectacular flora.
Los Tiles alberga uno de los bosques de laurisilva más importantes del archipiélago canario, un frágil ecosistema heredado de la época terciaria, declarado zona núcleo de la Reserva Mundial de la Biosfera La Palma. Localizado en el municipio de San Andrés y Sauces, conserva un patrimonio natural de excepcional valor, especialmente desde el punto de vista de la flora y la fauna. Las abundantes especies de árboles que lo componen y, donde más denso y húmedo se hace, donde apenas llega la luz del sol, brotan monumentales sus extraordinarios helechos gigantes.
La ruta pasa por un profundo valle que tiene los mayores recursos hídricos de la Isla. Se sube aproximadamente 250 metros, donde se accede a un punto con vistas espectaculares y luego se desciende a Los Sauces. En el descenso hacia el mar hay una plantación de plátano, donde se puede llevar a cabo un viaje guiado.
También, usted podrá terminar en Charco Azul, donde podrá darse un chapuzón en una piscina natural, y desde allí la ruta continúa hasta San Andrés.
Como dato adicional, en este lugar se encuentra junto a una zona recreativa el Centro de Investigación e Interpretación de "Los Tiles".
