The Barranco del Infierno is located in the municipality of Adeje (south of the island). It is a well-known nature reserve and is visited by thousands of people every year.
Currently to access the ravine you must pay a ticket (except Sundays) and it is highly recommended to make a reservation, since the maximum capacity is 200 people a day.
The trail begins at a guide post, who can accompany us during the journey and will give us some explanations and information. Carrying out the route without the guides is not a problem since the path is perfectly signposted and ends in a waterfall (a small waterfall at an altitude of 560 meters). The ravine route covers a total of 6,300 meters.
Inside the ravine there are great varieties of flora such as Magarzas, Dragos, Sabinas, Peralillos, Sauces, Tabaibas and Cardones. Rupicola vegetation. Regarding the fauna, there are species such as the Kestrel, Eagle, Raven, Frog, Bat and owl.
It is a perfect trail to do alone or accompanied as it does not present dangers and offers a spectacular experience in contact with nature.
